Brand Story

VitrA’s foundations in the field of ceramic sanitaryware date back to Eczacıbaşı’s establishment of Türkiye’s first modern ceramic sanitaryware facility in Kartal, Istanbul, in 1958. Products manufactured at this facility under the VitrA brand played an important role in the development of modern bathroom culture in Türkiye.

The brand’s international development gained momentum with its first exports to Germany in 1983. From the 1990s onward, VitrA expanded its product range and developed its international operations; in the 2000s, it further strengthened its brand approach, treating the bathroom as a rational, aesthetic and environmentally conscious living space.

Today, VitrA has an extensive collection that brings together sanitaryware products, bathroom furniture, cistern systems and complementary bathroom solutions. With products designed for different dimensions, designs and usage needs, it offers solutions for a variety of areas, from residential spaces to professional projects.
